SURFSIDE SAVE OUR BEACH

Surfside Save Our Beach has worked diligently since 1973 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to better the ecology, beauty, safety, and quality of Surfside Beach, Texas. Their work includes beach clean-ups, dune protection, emergency planning, beach safety, and Surfside community pride.

COASTAL CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION (CCA)

The CCA is a nationwide coalition of saltwater anglers dedicated to marine conservation and the health of our coastal waterways. The Texas chapter protects and stewards our reefs and fishes and hosts the CCA Texas STAR fishing tournament that awards over $1 million in prizes and scholarships.

PORT O’CONNOR TOY RUN

The Port O’Connor Toy Run is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves underprivileged children by annually delivering toys to thousands of Texas Gulf Coast children. Now in its 22nd year, the Toy Run journeys from Surfside Marina and heartily delivers toys to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree staff.

FOLDS OF HONOR

Folds of Honor is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that awards educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military members who have been disabled or fallen in service to our country. The South Texas branch has contributed to a fund that’s awarded over $240 million nationwide since 2007.

DORADO’S DIVE CLUB

Dorado’s is a Surfside Beach staple that serves hungry beachgoers from morning brunch straight through catfish dinner. Dorado’s supports nonprofit causes with its annual spring “Bikes and Bugs” event.
