Surfside Marina isn’t just a marina designed with the best storage and boat repair facilities in South Texas. We’re a community of boaters, anglers, surfers, and shoreside vacationers. We are a neighborhood with a deep appreciation for the water, and we like to have fun together.

Texas Billfish Classic
Texas Champions King Mackerel Tournament and Texas Champions Bay Bash
As the “Texas Home of Sportfishing,” Surfside Marina hosts and participates in tournaments throughout the summer. Visit the Port O’Connor Toy Run Tournament page and the Texas Gulf Coast Billfish Classic website for more information on these annual tournaments.
OFFICIAL WEIGH-IN STATION FOR THE CCA’S STATE OF TEXAS ANGLER’S RODEO (STAR) TOURNAMENT – SATURDAY, MAY 24TH TO MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST
The Coastal Conservation Association of Texas hosts one of the largest tournaments on the Gulf Coast annually, with scholarships and prizes that amount to over $1 million. Surfside Beach will serve as an official weigh-in station for the tournament, which starts at sunrise on May 24th and carries right through to Labor Day weekend. SURFSIDE MARINA CUSTOMER APPRECIATION “KICK OFF TO SNAPPER SEASON” EVENT AND FOLDS OF HONOR FUNDRAISER – JUNE 7, 2025
Each year, boaters arrive at the marina before dawn to rumble out past state nautical boundaries for the first day of snapper season in federal waters. In the afternoon, Surfside Marina members who have a boat in the barn are welcome to come over for an afternoon and evening of camaraderie with Surfside Marina members friends and family. Customers are welcome to bring sides, and we’ll grill them up for you. All donations during the event will go toward our annual drive to support Folds of Honor. Event musicians and times will be specified as the date draws closer.
The Port O’ Connor Toy Run Texas Champions King Mackerel Tournament and Texas Champions Bay Bash – Saturday, July 12, 2025
One of our favorite Saturdays of the summer is the annual Texas Champions King Mackerel Tournament. For those who wish to stay close to shore, 2025 will bring the second year of the Texas Champions Bay Bash, held simultaneously with the King Mackerel Tournament. Proceeds from the tournaments benefit the annual Port O’Connor Toy Run. Check out the Port O’Connor “Tournaments” page for registration and event specifics.
The Surfside Beach Boat Parade – November 2025 (date TBD)
Surfside Marina will serve as a toy drop-off location and host for the Fourth Annual Surfside Beach Boat Parade and Toy Run. The Toy Run benefits the children of Brazoria County. The full day of fun begins with morning boat decorating, and the parade takes off mid-afternoon to travel the Intracoastal Waterway and ends at The Well at Dorado’s. The lunch location and meet-up times will be specified as the date draws closer.
The Port O’Connor Toy Run – December (date TBD)
